The true strength of the Coalition-SGSL is
its volunteers. Volunteer groups focus on a specific issue of
interest while aiming to fulfill the Coalition-SGSL’s goals
and mandate. The members learn and share knowledge, experience and
ideas by being active in these volunteer groups. By volunteering a
little of their time, these members manage to increase the overall
impact of their individual efforts by acting collaboratively across
borders.
The membership as a whole is the Southern Gulf of St.Lawrence
Coalition. These volunteer members become a voice, but mostly an
acting body, for the membership. They are essential to the
fulfilment of the Coalition-SGSL’s vision of a sustainable
Southern Gulf of St.Lawrence.
