The Mapping Made Easy Training sessions are being provided to conservation and ecological community groups (and open to the public depending on space availability). Each session is from 10am - 3pm.

This is an initiative to build the capacity of Atlantic Canadian Non-Government Organizations (NGOs) to use available free on-line geographic information tools and resources. The sessions will concentrate on the importance of utilizing geomatics as a clear and effective tool to achieve their conservation efforts and to better communicate to the public, partners and funders. Each session can be tailored to help groups based on their level of GIS capability. In addition, the session will include training on environmental monitoring protocol that will ensure the credibility of collected data.
